A 79-year-old woman at a Skilled Nursing Facility with Alzheimer’s disease suffered from malnourishment and dehydration when care givers failed to ensure she ate and had fluids during her 3 ½ month stay at facility. Eventually, she was taken to the emergency department with major complications related to lack of food and water.
