A  57-year-old female cyclist was struck by a tractor trailer pushing and pinning her against curb. The rear end tires of tractor trailer ran over her helmeted head, crushing her to death, leaving two young adult daughters as her survivors.  Case settled against the City for dangerous design and the trucking company for the driver’s negligence for a total of $7,810,000
